I grew up in Hawaii. Played competitive beach volleyball. Built a company — GONLED — from an idea to an eight-figure exit. Retired in 2020 and came back to Kauaʻi to coach my son Makoi's soccer team and slow down.
Then on Mother's Day 2024, I ended up in the ER with heart failure and an AFib diagnosis that had been missed for four years. What followed was 70+ weeks of using AI and wearable technology — every single day — to understand my own heart in ways my doctors never had time to explain.
